Terms & conditions
The agreement between us when you buy a piece — written to be read.
Who these terms are between
You and Moonlit Fine Jewelry. They apply when you place an order, together with our privacy policy, shipping policy and returns policy.
Placing an order
Adding a piece to your bag is an offer to buy, not a contract; the contract forms when we send your confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order — a stone sells first, or a price is wrong — we tell you and refund in full rather than substitute something without asking.
Prices
Prices include our making, the stone and its certificate. We may change prices at any time, but never after your order is confirmed. Sales tax is calculated at checkout.
Making time
Stock pieces leave us within two working days. Made-to-order pieces take longer, and the time we quote is an honest estimate, not a guarantee. If a piece will be materially late we tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund.
Stones and certificates
Where a diamond comes with a grading report, it is from IGI or GIA — never from us — and the certificate that arrives is the one the stone was graded under. Photographs are taken under studio light and are an honest guide, not an exact reproduction.
Care and the lifetime promise
Retipping and rhodium plating are free for as long as you own the piece. That covers normal wear, not loss, theft, accidental damage or work by another jeweller. Resizing is separate: one free resize within 60 days of delivery, and unlimited with 3-Year, 5-Year and Lifetime Care (you pay the shipping).
Returns
Your right to return, and its three exceptions, are set out in our returns policy. Nothing in these terms reduces your rights under consumer law where you live.
Our content, liability and the law
The photographs, descriptions and designs on this site are ours; share them freely, but not to sell jewellery. We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this agreement, and we never limit liability where the law does not allow it. The version of these terms that applies is the one published when you ordered.
